Don’t “LEAVE” – Just “BELIEVE” !!!

Steve Jobs put it this way in his speech to Stanford graduates:

“I’m pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn’t been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. I’m convinced the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love.”

I BELIEVE in the same philosophy.  Whatever bad things happened in life, just  BELIEVE its was happened only for good and move on.  Don’t settle. Never give up. JUST BELIEVE. Dig deeper into your passion, be persistent, keep moving forward and BELIEVE in yourself, BELIEVE that you are going to make miracles.

Along the way you may incur a lot of ups and down, pitfalls, setbacks, critics even more than that.  Use it all as fuel towards your success.

Life has given you another chance. Use it wisely.  Despite life’s tragedies, temporary setbacks, catastrophic situations and unanticipated problems, you are still alive, you are still breathing.

In the midst of any crisis in life and career, follow these two simple guidelines:

  1. Strengthen yourself physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
  2. Face any crisis or adversity head on. BELIEVE that you are greater than anything that has happened, or anything that will happen to you.

 Yes YOU can,
because YOU are something special,
YOU have a greatness within YOU,
YOU have a Miracle Within YOU and
YOU have a genius within YOU.

YOU are unstoppable and invincible.

One of the TOP SECRET to SUCCESS is BELIEVE.

BELIEVE in yourself and BELIEVE your goals and dreams is going to happen..

Don’t LEAVE your “BELIEVE“. Just BELIEVE and go for it.

Take Action and BELIEVE it.

If YOU BELIEVE it YOU can See it.
If YOU BELIEVE it YOU will Get it. – Sivaprakash G

How Successful People Overcome Crisis in Life & Career?

There are tens and thousands of biographies that exist throughout literature, but few will change our lives. I have been reading and researching for a long time about why only a few people are called successful, and the answer seems to be simple: Because they changed their crises into opportunities and now the world calls them successful people, legends, leaders, game changers, etc. You will have heard of a few highly successful people like Helen Keller, Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs, Henry Ford, Walt Disney, Ludwig van Beethoven, Alexander Graham Bell, Mother Theresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Franklin D Roosevelt, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr, Barack Obama, George Washington, Nelson Mandela, Nick Vujicici, Abdul Kalam and the list goes on.

These successful people converted their mistakes into history, Obstacles into Opportunity, Failure into Fortune, Mess into Message, Misery into Mastery, Tragedy into Triumph, Pain into Pleasure and so on and so forth.  They faced unimaginable crises in their life and changed them into opportunities.

Let us take a small life lesson from Steve,

You know who Steve Jobs is.

FILE - This 1977 file photo shows Apple Computer Inc. founder Steve Jobs as he introduces the new Apple II computer in Cupertino, Calif. Apple Inc. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 said Jobs is resigning as CEO, effective immediately. He will be replaced by Tim Cook, who was the company's chief operating officer. It said Jobs has been elected as Apple's chairman. (AP Photo/Apple Computers Inc., file)

He changed the world; no question about that.  He inspired many people around the world and he has shown that it’s possible to be successful no matter what happens to you – good or bad.

He dealt with a number of crises throughout his life and career.

But how did he convert those crises into opportunity?

The lesson that I learned from Steve Jobs is simple:

  1. In a speech at Stanford University, he said, “I was out” and then he added“I was very publicly out”.

He was publicly out. That was his crisis but he persisted in his dreams, didn’t give up, and with incredible tenacity he continued in his passion to build something creative that would change the world.

Some people thrive on adversity and use it as their fuel for success. Steve is one of the great examples of this.

Crisis: Steve was fired from Apple in 1985.

He wanted to prove his early success at Apple wasn’t a fluke.

In 1986 Steve founded NeXT, a high-end computer company. NeXT combined powerful hardware and software in ways that had never been done before.

In 1997, ironically, Apple acquired NeXT for $429 million, and the following year Steve became Apple’s CEO, driving the company to its greatest successes, from the iPod to the iPhone to the iPad.

The merger promised to marry software from NeXT with Apple’s hardware platforms, eventually resulting in OS X, iOS, and watchOS.

2. Later, Steve founded NeXT 1986. Jobs purchased the Computer Graphics Division of George Lucas’ Lucasfilm, and established an independent company, renamed as “Pixar.” Pixar is now the most successful animation studio in the world with masterpieces such as Toy Story, CARS, and The Incredible in their portfolio.

#Big Ideas and Innovation

In 2006, the Walt Disney Company bought Pixar for $7.4 billion. The transaction made Jobs the largest shareholder in Disney.

The story goes on and on.  What is the bottom line?  Crises, Opportunity and from there to Miracles.

How did he make it all come together?

Jobs put it this way in his speech to Stanford graduates:

“I’m pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn’t been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. I’m convinced the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love.”

I believe in the same philosophy. First you need to find out what it is that you love, and then you’ve got to do what you love to do. Along the way you may incur a lot of ups and down, pitfalls, setbacks, critics even more than that.  Use it all as fuel towards your success.

“Don’t Settle”

Don’t settle down. Never give up. Have faith. Dig deeper into your passion, be persistent, keep moving forward and believe in yourself, believe that you are going to make miracles.

Life has given you another chance. Use it wisely.  Despite life’s tragedies, temporary setbacks, catastrophic situations, and unanticipated problems, you are still alive, you are still breathing.

because YOU are something special,
YOU have a greatness within YOU,

YOU have a genius within YOU.

YOU are unstoppable and invincible.

In my opinion, facing crisis is one of the best ways to reach the next level in life. #Life and Career: Next Level

Are you Responding or Reacting???

Who Respond and Who React???

Sivaprakash
                                             Respond or React

A week ago, I had a chat with my friend about his job and he just reacted and I realized how frustrated he was on his job from the reaction, I tried motivated him, but after two days due to  toxic, negative, criticizers and slackers in his company, he quit his job without any back up plans.

A week later, he called me up and visited me with a resignation letter and it seems he still very disappointed with his previous organization, management, and the people etc.

I said, stop reacting buddy. It’s all over and you are the only one responsible for what you are, don’t destroy your future and career.

He replied “No, I don’t, but my company already ruined my life” They made me think like “monkey working for peanuts”.

Leave it man, sometime bad things happens to good people.

“Don’t go through from your past”, look at the bright side and “grow through from the past.”   Any bad situation always teach you some great lesson, learn from it and keep moving forward.

Stop reacting and start responding from now, it will rebuild your life and take you to the next level.

I have shared a story about cockroach which I recently learned and it’s called“cockroach theory for self-development.”

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady.  She started screaming out of fear.

With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.

Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panic, and few called the waiters for some help.

The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but …it landed on another lady in the group.

Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.

The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.

In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.

The waiter stood firm, calm and composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt.

When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.
Watching the amusement, my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach is responsible for their histrionic behavior?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?
He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.
It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those ladies to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed others in the restaurant.

Most people concentrate on our disturbances so it always disturbing us.
More than the problem, it’s our reaction to the problem that creates chaos in our life.

Reactions are always jeopardize whereas responses are always well thought of, just and right to save a situation from going out of hands, to avoid cracks in relationship, to avoid taking decisions in anger, anxiety, stress or hurry.

I asked my friend, what do you understand from this story?

He replied “I understood, I should not react in my life.”  And “I should always respond” like a waiter.

You are right “respond rather than react” and I explained, In life we may get lot of disturbances, hurdles, setbacks, pitfalls, criticism, obstacles, rejections, problems will come and we can’t hide or avoid it, and if you react suddenly your mind goes blank, and it stops your vision and it make you do things which you don’t want to do and it will harm you and the people around you.

“If someone criticizes you for making a mistake or if you makes any mistake, remember “successful people don’t react immediately” and if they react “they are not a successful people”.   I want you to be a successful person in life and be an example for others.

Successful people are always calm, composed and think and wait and then deliver an appropriate response to the situation.

They know how important other people are, and they won’t let any emotional overreaction harm theirs.

They know emotions are contagious, and overreacting has a negative image on everyone around them, so they always love to be an example.

Stay Calm, Stay Positive and always respond whatever happens in life and “Your life will never be the same again. “

“When you Change your attitude, you see your inner powers.”

I helped him with lot of real time stories, and how to manage time and money, and how to stay motivated and follow health plans, how to set goals and achieve it and how to develop a positive mindset and so on.

His response was great, “sure thank you so much for helping me out in my career and life. I really appreciate it.  You made me to see my life in a different way and I will make a difference in life and career. “

Today, he called me up and said “I realized the consequences of reacting.  Thank you my friend, Now I got selected in a MNC and  in 2017 April I am setting up my own business and I am sure I will follow your strategies and make a difference today and tomorrow and wherever I go and whatever I do. I learned a great lesson on reacting and responding.  Thank you again. ”

It was a great feeling for me and I wish him all success in life and career.
